I’m Hannah, a thirty-something reader and writer currently living in Sydney, Australia.
By day I work in finance, and by night, you can usually find me binging the latest rom-com on Netflix instead of writing my own.
I’ve always been a reader. I grew up in a house full of books, and with supportive parents who nurtured my love through Scholastic book club catalogues, frequent library visits and overstuffed bookcases of children’s literature from my mother’s classroom. Nowadays I have the perpetual problem of too many books and not enough shelf space.
“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.”OSCAR WILDE
In my seven years of blogging and book reviewing, I’ve worked alongside publishers both locally in Australia and internationally, including Penguin Random House, the Hachette Group, Simon & Schuster, Pan Macmillan, Allen & Unwin and Harpercollins Publishers.
I am currently a freelance reviewer for Good Reading Magazine.
From a small coastal town (and a small country town) in Western Australia, I spent three years from the age of nineteen living in Scotland, falling trap to my wanderlust. I moved back home to continue my studies, and am currently finishing a Bachelor of Communications in Public Relations & Creative Writing.
I love puns and really bad dad jokes, always a bit of a trivia nerd, and am happy that true crime and cheesy Christmas movies are The Latest Thing.
